Morgan appeared in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informational video on AIDS Education and Prevention. Morgan donated a portion of her earnings for the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is also on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives in support of the condition and been a witness in a Congressional Special Committee about AIDS Education. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness events. In addition, she was host of a AIDS Awareness Special presented by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to make appearances on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy recipient for her role in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. In spring, she was a guest alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Morgan then appeared in the production of Harmony Gold, Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady, which starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in an action-packed psychological thriller produced exclusively for USA Network. This thriller garnered the best reviews of all time for that network.
